Terms and Conditions
By using the services of UK Nexgen Shipping & Logistics, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Shipping & Delivery
– We offer freight forwarding services from the anywhere in the world, primarily from the USA to Jamaica, with shipments twice weekly.
– Delivery times may vary based on shipping schedules, customs processing, and other unforeseen factors.
– Customers will be notified of estimated pickup dates; however, delays beyond our control may occur.
2. Customs & Duties
– Items valued under $100 USD are exempt from customs charges, in accordance with Jamaican customs regulations.
– Items valued over $100 USD may be subject to import duties, taxes, and fees imposed by the Jamaica Customs Agency. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.
– Customers must provide accurate item ( invoices) values and descriptions to avoid customs-related issues.
3. Prohibited & Restricted Items
– The following items are prohibited from shipping: firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs, hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, and perishable items.
– It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their items comply with Jamaican import regulations.
4. Fees & Payments
– Quoted prices include standard handling and processing; additional fees may apply for oversized, overweight, or special handling items.
– Payments are accepted via bank transfer, credit/debit card, cash.
5. Packaging & Liability
– We take every precaution to handle shipments with care; however, UK Nexgen Shipping & Logistics is not liable for damage due to improper packaging by the sender.
6. Storage & Abandoned Goods
– Shipments must be collected within 10 days of arrival at pickup location to avoid storage fees.
– Items left unclaimed for more than 14 days may be considered abandoned and disposed of or sold accordingly.
7. Customer Responsibilities
– Customers must provide accurate invoices and contact information.
9. Limitation of Liability
– UK Nexgen Shipping & Logistics is not responsible for delays due to customs inspections, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
10. Changes to Terms
– UK Nexgen Shipping & Logistics reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website or communicated to customers directly.
